Background

The "Space Explorers Scotland" web site has been developed by Careers Scotland with the help of Scottish teachers to provide four on-line 40-minute lessons that provide an introduction to space science, the visiting astronauts and space exploration.

Each lesson is suitable for S1-S6 ability ranges. The pupils can access the web site and carry out incremental explorative research, building their own on-line research portfolio, before printing out their research at the end of the lesson in a notebook format. Additionally, they can save their portfolio on-line for later use and extend their research portfolio as they complete further lessons.

There are teacher notes for each of the lessons.

Getting Registered

You get started with Space Explorers Scotland by the teacher registering thier class on-line using our Class Registration form.

Once this has been completed then you should see your class when you access the form on the Pupil Login page.
